The Radiant Child

Our studio directed the title design and DVD cover for Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child, a 2010 documentary by Tamra Davis. The film features Davis' intimate 1986 interview with Basquiat, interwoven with anecdotes from his friends and associates, offering a personal look at the artist's life and work. Drawing inspiration from the film’s themes and Basquiat’s legacy, our contributions extended to influencing the sound design and editing, creating a cohesive visual and auditory experience. Premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, the documentary takes its name from a 1981 Artforum article by art critic Rene Ricard.
